The city center cruise terminal, with an internal area of 1200 m², is architecturally simple yet striking, with a facade constructed from container elements making it quite unique. The primary function of the Hamburg Cruise Center is to handle cruise liners, and magnificent vessels such as the Queen Mary 2, the AIDA and the Jewel of the Seas regularly dock at the 330 m long quayside in HafenCity. For the last few years the location has also been available for a wide variety of events.
