It was in 1989 that the Lichtwerk established itself in the lively, creative heart of Ottensen, not far from the "Fabrik" and the Zeisehallen film centre. In this lovingly restored former engineering factory the ambience of a memorial to the industrial 19th century is combined with technical equipment of 21st century standards. Three studios with a total of 1300 m² floor space enable a flexible approach to all manner of requirements.
