MOJO - HAMBURG, ST. PAULI, REEPERBAHN 1
The MOJO Club is located right at the beginning of the most famous red light district in the world, the legendary Reeperbahn in St. Pauli. For several decades the club and its music have won international respect here. From the very beginning the MOJO Club focused on contemporary electronic styles, in addition to jazz, funk and bossa nova, as the basis for its extremely varied musical programs. To this day regular club evenings and popular concerts still attract loyal and enthusiastic audiences.
The construction of the "dancing towers" also brought about a redevelopment of the MOJO Club here, creating a club of international format - complete and soaring at the entrance to Reeperbahn 1. A large number of musicians appeared onstage at the MOJO Club at the beginning of their career – and great artists continue to search out the space for rare club gigs. To name but a few: Prince, Goldie, Aphex Twin, Propellerheads, Kruder & Dorfmeister, the Black Eyed Peas, Lily Allen, Eminem, Sugarhill gng, Angie Stone and Paul Weller.
